Sipho holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Economics and Econometrics, as well as a postgraduate Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg.

During his studies, Sipho was selected by the University of Johannesburg to conduct research at the Tennessee State University in the United States of America for 2 weeks - selection was based on academic merit. He was also selected as an international delegate for the 2018 African Union World Export Development Forum held in Zambia.

In his third year, Sipho was employed by the university as an Economics tutor.

Sipho started his career in Asset Management, working as a Junior Equity Analyst at ClucasGray Asset Management.

Prior to joining Louw & Company, Sipho worked in the Corporate and Investment Banking division at Nedbank as a Credit Manager in the Sovereign and Financial Institutions Committee
